Historic Herbs

Jun 8th, 2008 by Chris Duggan, GreeninBrum | 3 comments

Historic Herbs grows herb plants in Staffordshire and sells them, among other places at farmers’ markets in Birmingham.

“All our herbs are grown using organic techniques.  We do not believe in covering plants you may be planning to eat with noxious chemicals.  We only use organic fertilizers and pesticides which are Soil Association approved.”

Great stuff. As other commenters have pointed out here, most fruit and vegies we buy from supermarkets these days are treated with unnatural chemicals and I am sure that in years to come, we will find much of the prevalence of cancers and serious illness will be linked to these chemicals and preservatives. Organic is the only way to go.
