Lower carbon emissions from cars: LPG

Converting a car to run on LPG …

The best way to achieve lower carbon emissions from your car is to use it less! Having a small car also helps. But there are also ways to get hi-tech ways to get lower emissions per mile, and there are tax incentives now for low emission cars.

One approach is LPG (liquid petroleum gas), which has lower emissions because the fuel contains less carbon and more hydrogen than petrol. Some firms in Birmingham can convert your car to run on LP. It seems wise to select one approved by the LPGA, as an incompetent conversion can be dangerous. These two are taken from the LPGA website:
