Oho Organic Stores, Harborne [closed down]

Business opened 2008

Nice picture of Anthony and Ashley in this Birmingham Mail article: Buying organic doesn’t have to mean busting your budget.

I like the sound of the “traditional cheeses hand-made just a few miles away at Earlswood”. (And happy to have a debate about organics, veganism, localism and global warming in the comments.)

Unfortunately, this shop has just closed down. I liked the guys who ran it and liked the produce. The recession has hit again. A loss to us all.

There is a new organic shop in Moseley village – Indigo Wholefoods in St Mary’s Row, opposite Oxfam. Sage Wholefoods has re-opened on King’s Heath high street, opposite Somerfields.
