Over 30 at Kings Heath vigil
Over 30 people attended the candlelit vigil in Kings Heath to call for a strong climate deal at Copenhagen this evening.
Although it was only organised at three days notice, over 30 adults and some children braved the cold to stand outside All Saints church, to light candles, hand out leaflets, sing, chant, play percussion instruments, chat and laugh, including
Claire Prosser, D. Stamp, Jon Buick, Beth Fisher, Bob Whitehead, Shabdam Bailey-Bond, Kate Willen, Brian May, Oksana Carey, Margaret Healey Pollett, Helen McKiernan, Liz Peake, Rob Collett, Helen Cotter, Veronica, Jo Hindley, John Christophers, Chris Duggan, L Wild, Barbara Norden, Theo, Nicole, Vicki Squire, Oz, Chris, Helen Lloyd.
(If you were there and your name does not appear above, please add it in the comments.)

Thanks to Helen and John for the photos above. Beautiful photos of candles floating on the canal at the city centre event, we’re told a curious Canada goose may have burnt her tongue on a candle!
Special thanks to all who took photographs and handed out leaflets, to Vicki who got the thing moving, and to Oz and Margaret for their encouragement.

The Edible Birmingham event and many others are listed on GreeninBrum’s events calendar at http://events.greeninbrum.org.uk/.
If anyone at BFOE would like to set up a Google calendar that could feed into events.greeninbrum.org.uk automatically, let us know http://greeningbrum.org.uk/contact/
